A web-site designed to foster communication amongst Botany grads involved with Botany Department Christmas Parties. The site is built upon a content management system (CMS) called Drupal. As such, registered users can make significant contributions and edits to site content. The site publically posts some audio recordings of Christmas parties.

This resource provides a platform to store, access and present information related to my PhD project investigating the genetic regulation of fibre length in Arabidopsis thaliana. This site uses Drupal 5 and is my most feature-rich exploration of Drupal capabilities in data handling, work logs, and multi-media presentations. I will make some of this content public when time permits.

Our lab routinely performs scans of specific journals relevant to our fields (kinase signaling, cell wall formation, fibre development). We present our findings in a short powerpoint presentation during lab meetings. This site offers an improved method of scanning journals, assimilating information and presenting this information in a more interactive manner than powerpoint. This site is public in order to avoid lab members having to log in all the time.
